Depends. If you want short books that have had a lot written about them, both Anthem, by Ayn Rand, and Animal Farm, by George Orwell, would work. If you want more modern books that are really well-written and a joy to read, Life of Pi by Yann Martel is a good candidate.

This might sound like a no-brainer, but this is something I've learned in writing speeches. The best way to do it is to come up with the main points (discussing the three books that have influenced you) for the body of your work: in other words, "Say it." Then, simply go back and introduce your work by giving a sneak preview of your main points ("Say what you are going to say") and wrap it all up by concluding and reviewing your work by, again, touching upon your main points ("Say what you have just said.")

Again, that mind sound simple, but it might help, for the most important thing to do is write. Once you have written enough and have molded your thoughts into the main part of your essay, the introduction and conclusion will be the easy parts.

And you need it to include all three books? Well, that is cool. Did you get to choose these three? If you chose them, there must be some common element among them. What do they have in common with each other and with you? That will be your thesis statement!

Start by pondering what the three books have in common and how that common thing inspires or otherwise affects you.

It depends what you mean by 'easy', and, like zowzow said, what genre you want to write about.

I remember doing one on The Davinci Code. Not technically 'easy', but I had fun doing it.

The Chrysalids. Nineteen Eighty-Four. War of the Worlds. The Time Machine. Actually, any George Orwell book. Any Shakespeare work. Any Jane Austen work. Any BrontÄ‚« sisters work. Any Charles Dickens work.

The Giving Tree is a rather complex picture book, I think. Use of whitespace, colours, imagery with words, etc.

And if you really want to dig deep, Harry Potter. It may seem simple at first glance, but there's some rather interesting conspiracy theories going on.

My personal favourites are George Orwell books. They're all fairly dystopian, which might be why I like them so much. Plus, they rarely end in happily ever afters.

For me, a book essay should begin with a summary and a description of the social background.

And then, just write about the main ideas of the book, emphasizing on parts that you feel most impressed. As this is a review, you can show your opinion and counter/support the book's arguments.

That's just my personal view. Hope it helps.
