i am doing my dissertation work on "data mining in retail store''
actually...ny aim to generate association rules among items on the basis of transactional data...
i hv done all the things...i hv worked on weka workbench...
nd applied...apriori algo...
i got some association rules...
but how can i...justify them...or further analysis...like...graphs...any thng..
jst...association rules is the output...
nd i hv to write n results...If x then y...
my all attributes are nominal...
shud i hv to change in attributes...nd i hv taken also..missing values..means..
i hv putted..'t' for purchased....'?' for not purchased..
all data values is like that..
nd arff format is like that
@attribute 'item1' {t}
its is correct..or not....
plz tell me...
i hv some doubt in my results...
coz..if i m doing clustering...thn there is 0 clusters..

My advice for you is like this: find 3 dissertations similar to yours (same design) and read them. Then, CHOOSE ONE of them to use as a MODEL to base your own study on.
