member430 1 / - Oct 29, 2011 #1Hi, I was wondering whether there is a specific style that is more appreciated for the activity essay. I wrote mine more like a literary piece rather than an actual explanation of my activity but now I'm wondering whether it should be more straightforward. I noticed most of the activity responses up on this site tend to follow the latter method. So again, is it ok if it just presents a descriptive image of my activity (of course, with a couple of sentences of what the activity meant to me)? Or should it just handle facts about achievements and explain what the activity is and such? Thanks!

I go on to explain that I did not know the weight of my statement but I had, without knowing, made a mature/enlightened statement that I had gotten a "personal record." I was ecstatic. I did not even think to be upset about my place in the race.So basically I wrote about my love for running and my positive attitude in one nice, tidy little paragraph.
