jhg 1 / - Oct 22, 2008 #1For a history essay, I'm arguing that internal conflicts led to the fall of Western Rome. My thesis:By failing to assert its strong leadership that sustained an empire for so long, Western Rome's collapse was the result of poor social and economic decisions by its Emperors.I'm thinking it may be too vague, but ultimately what i want to get across is that Rome died from the inside out. My arguments so far are Slavery, Over inflation, Poor electoral system, Technological stagnation and Christianity.Am I on the right track or should I revise my thesis somehow?

Because you state in your thesis that the collapse was due to the decisions of its emperors, be sure you will be able to link slavery, over inflation, the poor electoral system, technological stagnation, and Christianity directly to those emperor's decisions in each regard.Good luck!Regards,GloriaModerator, EssayForum.com
