Crime, by definition, is the act of violating the law. It is obvious that the increasing rate of crime is due to the degeneration in our society and moral values no longer seem to have importance.According to criminologists, there are factors in the society,the cultures and system which causes potential criminals as it is believed that people are easily influenced.

what are the main ideas i can develop in the essay according to "prevention is better than cure"??

I would change the second sentence to one more along these lines: "The increasing rate of crime stems from the degeneration of societal and moral values." That way you can say everything that you did in the original, but more succinctly. Then, "According to criminologists, factors within cultural society and the system (clarifying what "system" it is) causes criminal behavior...

Also, it may be advantageous to clarify how it is that people are easily influenced, and then you can use your thesis and body to examine the factors within culture, society, and the system.

Unless you are about to make a point involving this observation, it's better not to include it. Don'y ever write anything that is not worth saying; if you would not say it in a conversation, don't say it in the essay. This is a "statement of the obvious."

Well, one good topic for this is community policing. IT is a deliberate effort to make good relations between police and the people. Look for it in your school database.

Also look for the terms "criminal behavior" and deviant and delinquant and predictive. Looik for those in various combinations.

the increasing rate of crime stems from the degeneration of societal and moral values.according to criminlogists, there are factors in the society; the culture and the governmental system which cause criminal behaviours, as it is believed that people are easily influenced. there are different types of criminal behaviour and according to researches a person is likely to be involved in criminal activities if the latter is exposed to violent surroundings and through scientific researches it is proved that genes can also influence criminal behaviours.
