I have to analyze the culture and socialization of the movie Hitch and am running out of things to add to my essay.
So far, I am providing examples of agents of socialization, "Doing gender", Sanctions, and re-socialization. I could use help with examples that apply to those topics or if any of you can think of things from the movie to apply other concepts/theories of culture and socialization from a sociological standpoint that would help as well.
"doing gender" - Sociological analysis on the movie Hitch
I have to write an essay explaining how the movie Hitch(with will smith) exhibits culture and socialization from a sociological standpoint. So far I have, "doing gender", sanctions, resocialization, gender rules, and agents of socialization. I could use more examples about these topics and possibly some about folkways, mores, culture, values, norms.
