I would like to apply for the Master's Course- Economic Policies in the age of GlobalizationïźEPOGïźin 2013. My aim is to become a highly qualified professional, be able to address the main problems of economic policies in the age of globalization. Therefore I would like to gain deeper principles in public and private sectors and also in-depth skills to deal with different economic areas, and hope someday I can help my country to optimize its resources and potencies.
Ever since I have learned of the EPOG program, I have known that this is what I want to do. I believe that the EPOG is the best program to achieve my career objectives, which is based on the specific institutional and holistic approaches of economic policies, and there are eight prestigious universities will provide complementary and interdisciplinary expertise in economic policy. Aside from that I would love to surround myself with motivated and ambitious people and the EPOG can give me the chance.
I hold a four-year bachelor's degree, majoring in the Speciality of Accounting from September 2005 to June 2009. During my four-year study, I showed great academic attitude and intense interest in my major. For example, I spent three years to pass the Certified Public Accountants Examination (CPA), which was the most difficult and valuable examination in China. Also I distributed some part of my time to study Management, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Marketing, International Trade, etc. Because of my rich academic knowledge and practical skills, I gained the prize Outstanding Graduate.
I have been working more than three years since my graduation. I spent the first year with Sichuan Communications Services Co., Ltd, where I prepared the monthly financial reports and management reports for the CFO. In the second year, I was promoted to become the Senior Accountant, responsible for supervising related transactions among branches of China Telecom. In the following third year, I was in charge of communicating between the headquarters and 29 subsidiaries. Due to my excellent performance, I was rewarded with the honor Annual Excellent Employee and transferred to the headquarters.
Through the precious four-year academic study and three-year working experience, I acquired substantial academic background and high sense of duty and discipline. Now I am confident that the working experience combined with my academic knowledge will be an important asset for my realization in the field of economic policies. Apart from that, my industriousness, team spirit and communication skills will contribute to my success in the EPOG and to my future career.
