edean 1 / - May 1, 2012 #1HelloThis is my first post and I hope that this is an appropriate place to ask. My question is about Critical Reflection for a Master Level Business and Management Assignment to"Critically analyze, evaluate and reflect upon ...X"Is the consensus for a formal academic essay to:a) Blend Critical Analysis with Critical Refection throughoutb) Have separate sections for Critical Analysis and Critical Refection. My natural preference is to go with this format...Critical Analysis- Pro's - Reasons / Evidence- Cons - Reasons / EvidenceCritical Reflection- Reasons / EvidenceConclusionsRecommendations...Instead of...Critical Analysis- Pro's - Reasons / Evidence- Critical Reflection - Reasons / Evidence- Cons - Reasons / Evidence- Critical Reflection - Reasons / EvidenceConclusionsRecommendations...The downside appears to be that the evidence (citations and references) mostly appears during critical analysis; rather than reflection. Although there is a lot of reference material It appears I stopped citing halfway through the essay. Many Thanks in advance

You may want to follow through, for good measure, and continue your references for the second half as well. Also, be sure to add a compelling opening statement and you should be all set!! Good luck and have fun in school!
