Books are amalgamating of cognizance. From beginning of a child, he / she learn the thing from book. He / she will not do the practical but he /she would come to know the things from books. Even the histories were written in books. Histories are not going to happen again, Newton is not coming back to tell the law so they had written the things in books. So book gives us knowledge about the past and the work done by our ancestors in the field of technology, medicines etc that gives us ideas. I know books are just theoretical in nature and gives new ideas. What I think everything is not written in the book .As far as I am considered experiences are the best mentors which teach us how to handle the difficult condition. Even the Newton like he great scientist had learnt the things from experience. Practical removes the flawless idea, hypothetical things which we think but accrue the experiences. It is also essential to utilize the knowledge or ideas we get from books in practical way.

Learning the things from experiences is different from learning the things from book. As instance a person want to learn how to drive the car. He / she take the manual or from book. He/ she will learn the things about the car parts, traffic signals etc. He doesn't be a perfect driver until he drives. So driver situation on road is different from that one written in books. So as we have seen there is always 1st the theoretical class then practical session.

A science student can acquire the theoretical knowledge from the books. The knowledge he /she has acquired is worthless until they apply in practical way. For e.g. biology student has learnt the dissection of frog from book. He does not come to know the hurdles until he does the things experimentally. Similarly for a chemistry student he / she will learn the reaction from the book. In book as author write the things in concise way but practical doing a single reaction take a lot of time and to interpret ate a result take lot of time too. You will come to know the problem in the reaction so next time you will aware of the problem. So doing things practically make you perfect and give vivid view and increases the experience.

So finally I would like conclude that the knowledge acquired from books give clues to new theories and apply that knowledge and cues or thinking into the practical gives us experience. And without experiences a book cannot be written.

Your essay gives insight on how Books provide someone else's first hand experience, which then translates to the readers' second hand experience. It gives the reader the benefit of foresight from someone else. But certain things need to be experienced first hand, but at least the reader had the preview (like a map of what to expect) first. Also, each book provides one version of the experience = like from a teacher (Newton, Einstein) etc. The reader gets to choose from theoretical teachers or the best genius who created the knowledge theory or experienced it first. Books can provide learning but not mastery!!
