## BEGIN ##
Being surrounded by four sisters and one brother who are working as teachers has provided me with great learning environment at my early age. This led me to begin exploring the basics of computer usage and gradually realizing the power of information technology and how interesting it is. At the time of my secondary school, my lovely journey has just started with opening my little computer workshop. After that, I had seriously started planning my future career in computer science, with strong support of my parents who were an unlimited source of motivation and encouragement.
In my undergraduate study, I have been always excelled in Computing and IT, which made me distinct from hundreds of students in the same program. This success has also made me one of the few students contributor in providing support and consultation for my college IT staff. At that time, my professors had encouraged me to continue my postgraduate study and to specialize in information systems security due to my obvious interests in that field.
After my bachelor, my father continued his support by fully sponsoring my master's degree in information security in Australia. I had participated in a volunteer work as IT Committee supervisor for the Omani Students Society in Victoria to enhance my communication and critical thinking skills. Furthermore, this had also enhanced my time management skills specially when involved in organizing huge events.
Nowadays, I am working as Senior Security Analyst in the top leading governmental organization that is responsible for national security of the whole government network, which gave me to ability to prove my strong abilities. At this job, I had been nominated to handle top national security projects in my country that require highly skilled people. Examples of these projects include roles as security key manager, public key infrastructure (PKI) security consultant, senior security analyst, and penetration tester team leader. In addition, I had been selected to conduct many information security workshops for government and public audiences.
My research interests in information security field get focused in vulnerabilities and their exploitation on most common platforms including mobile devices' systems. I had already started preparing my skills long time ago through combination of education, practical work experiences and professional certifications. Recently, I had obtained well-recognized professional certificate as an exploit researcher and advanced penetration tester (GXPN) from Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), which greatly empowered both my research skills, practical experiences and critical thinking.
My ultimate goal is to obtain my PhD degree which will provide me with solid research capabilities as initial step for leading the first research lab in the field of information security in my country.
With the full-fund scholarship provided by my government, I am sure that graduate study at your university will be the most logical extension of my pursuits and a major step towards achieving my objectives.
I would be grateful to you if I am accorded the opportunity to pursue my graduate studies at your university and am able to justify your faith in me.

Great work blooshi. More details always gives more credibility to your work. Mention your achievements, the moments you had been proud of the most and make it particular to the research area. For instance, When I worked for the top government organization, I used the SSH algorithm combined with the Hash top notch algorithm to make a highly secured, un-invadable system that was well-recognized by my fellow members. Excuse my ignorance of technical details but you get the idea. Mention the moments that you were proud of the most in your job and try to link it to research.
All in all blooshi, great work! But it lacks the sense of motivation and the fire.
Need advice on SOP for information security in canada
HI.. frnds... please help me to write my SOP for 1 year post graduation in information security in canada...
The problem is i have done Btech , undergraduation in Electronics and Communication ... so im bit confused how to write sop for information security because i have done UG in ECE...
kindly help me frnds... with sample SOP for PG in information security for ECE student..
my project work is related to Electronics so if i write that in my SOP is there any problem????????? because it is not related to computer science???????????
