PROJECT MANAGEMENT STUDY OBJECTIVES

After the deep thinking through my skills, interests and career ambition, I have decided to continue my post-gradual study with a master program in Project Management specialization. More specifying, I am looking forward to a graduate program that combines theory and practice for an effective management of a business and provides opportunities to develop leadership and management skills.

My interests in Project Management go back to the time of my Computer Science study at the International University for Science and Technology. I could achieve an excellent academic experience about the managerial principles through the different projects, which I was asked to accomplish. Every project was as a proof for me about the importance of the Project Management, because I always had to determine the time of every task of a project, the budget of the project and the scoop of the stakeholders about the project. It was a chance for me to realize how critical is it to examine management technology in a giving business.

I have learnt through my working experience by different organisations that every mission in this life is a project, which needs to be studied and requires to determine the resources according to the given budget, the time of every step and the scoop of the stakeholders, which must be clearly described and understood. I have learnt also about the interrelationship between business management and its environment. In Addition, I have had the ability to communicate with the different levels of the team members and to work efficiently in the different working conditions.

A very big part of the infrastructure was destroyed in my country Syria because of the war. The time period after the war will require a lot of experience to manage the rebuild progresses. I am looking to achieve the most modern knowledge and the highly efficient techniques about the Project Management from this program, which will allow me to continue my study and then to go back to my country to teach the students at the universities how to manage the projects from the different prespectives and to give them the experience, knowledge and techniques, which I would obtain from this program. Consequently, I will be a part in the building of the new society and the modern infrastructure with the modern, fast and high efficient techniques and methods.

I am now convinced that the new modern management has new applications of technology and modern methods, which serve the revolutionary progress of the different fields of business and after my practice experience I would consider it my privilege to start over a new academic experience in the United States and achieve the newly learn objectives from the universities, which are equipped with excellent infrastructure facilities and research opportunities. I believe that this program will be an essential step to go forward in my career and take a place in a senior management team. I am also looking forward to teach the get the ability to teach the students in my country the modern knowledge. I am confident that I can face the challenges through this program and that I have the requested skills and motivation to make a good strong contribution to my chosen field.

Mohanad, in order to create a more convincing study objective for your masters program, you should consider developing a real project during the course of your study for implementation in your country upon your graduation. So your study objective should contain your thesis statement, in reference to the problems that your country faces in terms of project and people management. Then, specifically mention how you feel that the training your will get from this university can help you prepare or better research the study objectives. Discuss any possible training programs, internships, mentor programs, or even just the classes that you hope can help you to achieve your objectives. Ensure that you will be able to account for your study objectives through a solid study platform based on your post study plans.
