MSc in Management application letter
Dear Sir or Madam:
I am writing to apply for the MSc in Management at the ABC University. I really appreciate this opportunity to enrich my knowledge and professionally outgrowth at one of the most prestigious and respected universities.
Undergraduate studies at the XYZ University have nurtured me into a specialist in accounting-related areas. However, I've always been trying to go above and beyond balance sheets by indulging myself in various topics, such as finance, marketing, and sociology. I also managed to demonstrate leadership potential in case competitions. As captain of a team, I can always successfully get all members on board with me to conduct quantitative and qualitative research and present effective strategies. Equipped with a well-rounded education in XYZ, I am driven to continue my learning in creative and distinct ways.
Besides, my internship practices prepared me for further studies in management. The auditing process equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of a company's operational mechanism as I walked through all the financial statement cycles. Interacting intensively with clients to address their problems, I had a profound insight into the different industries and developed great communication skills. The exposure to various teams boosted my confidence in learning in diversity and reaffirmed me to choose MIM. Working in EY in the peak season, I was responsible to explain the outliner in the income working paper. It was then I realize how accounting alone cannot address business problems and how finance, accounting, and marketing could jointly have a powerful impact in the workplace. I believe the courses ranging from corporate finance to consumer behavior at ABC can give me valuable insight into how to help businesses operate more efficiently, enact better strategies, and make better decisions. It was these experiences that solid my desire to integrate my interest in management with my understanding of accounting closely joined to address major business problems.
My undergraduate studies in Hong Kong and my summer experience in London truly ignited my interest in pursuit of MIM in ABC. As I explored topics from accounting to economics and interacted people from different cultures, I witnessed how animated conversation and various subjects could bring out the best in me. I believe that my studies in Singapore will be more colorful, where is a perfect blend of East and West and contains incredible cultural diversity and endless career opportunities.
To sum up, I am at the beginning of my career path, but I have already attained substantial progress in it. I aspire to study at the ABC University to obtain urgently needed business knowledge and analysis skills. Resolved to begin my career path with consulting firms, I kept calling backs my academic results as well as communication and leadership potential, which strongly persuaded me to deep dive this fabulously sophisticated area and proved that I am greatly prepared to apply for the program.
