firstchoiceu 2 / 4 Nov 25, 2010 #1Working on my essay right now, a sentence in my essay reads, "The name of the product is double the beginning part of the word "dictionary."I already mentioned in the essay that the product is called dictiondiction but I want to emphasize that the word is made from the beginning part of "dictionary." How do I rephrase the sentence to make it less awkward?
TheFreeMason11 6 / 54 Nov 25, 2010 #2Try something like, "It's just like saying 'dictionary,' but you stop before the 'ary' and repeat."Hope this helps, you've come up with a doozie there. Are you sure it's necessary to include this piece of information in the essay?
