Well, it's certainly something you can research and write on. You might, after doing some preliminary research, narrow it down by looking in detail at how one factor works, presumably choosing the one that interests you the most.

That sounds like an excellent topic. Why not start here: marketwatch.com/story/stocks-perform-better-when-congress-is -out-of-session. I think this shows that the markets react remarkably well to the notion of political stability.

Start your writing process by writing a paragraph about each article you read. When you have lots of paragraphs, go back and add the introduction.

As for citations, it is a simple matter of putting the name of the author in parentheses after what you write (Hacker).

If you quote the person, put the page number too. One author writes, "Use MLA style citations correctly" (Hacker 49).

There is more to it than that, but that is the basic idea...

Do you know how to make a Works Cited list in MLA?

It's easy!

Last name, first name. Title in Italic typefont. Place: Publisher, date.

It is different for articles than for books, but not too hard!! And if you make little mistakes it is okay, because everybody struggles with citation -- including teachers!

This will show you examples:

One more important correction. It's "Factors Affecting the Stock Market"

You can affect the quality of the day, but the "effect" you take is spelled with an e. "Affect" is a verb.

Peace be with you

as well as about introduction??

thanks

The abstract is like the core of an apple. It is the essence of the essay. The abstract tells the main idea in 120 words (approx)

The introduction should intrigue the reader... grab the attention...

You can write about possible causes of the stock market decline and ways to revive the economy. I wrote a research paper on a topic similar to this one. Make sure you use reliable sources (like edu sites, for example).

Whose perception of customer satisfaction?

Maybe it should be more specific: Perception of Customer Satisfaction among Executives in the Computer Industry.

Peace be with you

i need a scale to measure the relaitonship of cutomer satisfaction, previous experience, expected future use and customere complaint handeling with customer retention.

Well, perhaps you could use a chart or a graph. A scale would be difficult, because it would have to measure these three different things. Do you see a scale on the Internet that looks similar to what you need? If so, please link me to it, and I'll discuss this with you more. It seems hard! You need an example to follow.

Hi, I found a good page to help you out! It says, "Any variable that is not quantitative is categorical.."

oswego.edu/~srp/stats/variable_types.htm

You can express a variable numerically, like number of complaints... or you can express them qualitatively and even analyze the kinds of complaints.

Then again, you can also use a Likert scale to quantify data that is based on people's abstract ideas. YOU get to choose what kind of variable is used, because it is your work.

But for this question, remember that any variable you don't express as a number is going to be categorical.

:-)
