"For two reasons, there is a zigzag Sacred Way, rather than a straight one, to the Ming Xiaoling mausoleum. Firstly, Emperor of Ming, the owner of Xiaoling mausoleum, reserved Sun Quan's tomb as the guard of his own tomb with reverence to Sun's heroic characters. Secondly, the layout was designed as the shape of "Big Dipper", the symbol of divine power." This kind of anecdote, I still believe, was the most attracting part of my introduction, when I served as a tour guide at the scenic area.
My inherit hobby, reading, provides me with the ability to insert such an interesting anecdote into the normal introduction. Likewise, reading itself is alluring. When a book is in my hand, I can soon immerse myself into another world, the palace of the ancient east, the elegance of universe, or the emotion of an emperor. Acquiring boundless knowledge from various books, I joined a community consisting of sages in history. Through volumes of books, intellects of great people have nourished my mind and changed my ways of thinking. For instance, as a tour guide, I could render such an anecdotal explanation of a well-known fact. My spontaneous action of adding my certain knowledge to the introduction, reflects my enthusiasm, and might ignite others' interest to join our community.
