There are many courses in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, which are directly related to the curriculum of my home university (IIT Madras). My main area of interest is manufacturing and design. The courses like Manufacturing system design, Finite element method, Theory and practice of metal forming, Theory of ICE and simulation are related to my interest. Most of the courses in IIT Madras and CTU Prague are same, so there won't be any problems in the matching of courses. Your university with its unique graduate program in Mechanical Engineering and with its commitment to foster intellectual excellence is remarkable and attractive to embark upon an academic career.
Czech Technical University, being one of the best Technology and Research Universities not only in the Czech Republic but also in Europe it is one of the most sought after universities for higher education. An opportunity to study at such a prestigious university will go a long way in shaping my career. With state of the art facilities and top-notch faculty on offer, I shall strive to gain exposure and broaden my perspective about Mechanical Engineering. And the academically arranged trips to Bohemia and Moravia allow the participants to get a wide understanding of the academic topics and Czech culture. I shall make full use of my stay at the Czech Technical University to interact with the industry and understand the current trends and latest technologies being employed.
With an excellent international exchange program, Czech Technical University has a great mix of people from different regions and countries. The International student club at CTU offers a wide range of assistance and hospitality, is inviting. This gives me a unique platform to interact with people from different backgrounds and understand their culture. At the same time, through mutual sharing of my culture, I shall promote my country's values as well. All in all such an experience would add immense value to my perception of the world.
The shared experiences from many of my seniors who went to CTU for exchange were excellent and holistic, the beautiful campus, helpful professors, friendly students and they recommended me applying for the student exchange program. Doing an exchange in CTU would mean studying in one of the oldest and historic seats of learning in the continent of Europe and being a part of its rich academic heritage. Your current SOP falls short of delivering on the required elements such as the professional career, college background, and relevant internships or seminars attended which helped you to realize that you have a need for higher academic training in this area. The information you provide should also help to highlight the reasons why this exchange program will benefit your future career. At the moment, I don't get a strong sense of that benefit from the essay. The SOP you wrote is weak and uninformed so it cannot help boost your application in any way.
