Life can be as long as 100 years, or as short as several days. But to define a life can never rely singly on the span it lasts. A 100-year is long, long enough for a man to live a futile life. A 3-day is short, but long enough to make one's life full as well as consummate, meaningful enough to let us rest in peace, without any regret.
If some day, I was told that I only had 3 days to live, the first thing I would do was to take a hypnotism and ask the hypnotist to brush away my memory since I was an adult with sophisticated thoughts, returning to the time when I was still naïve in human intercourse and enthusiastic about dreaming dreams. With the brutal waves of grown-up world keeping rubbing off my edges, I don't think I still dare to go for whatever my heart tells me to do. A child is different in ways of thinking. Children have no worries over abiding by worldly evil morals, which force men to follow the norm, or weaving a perfect social net to prove one's existence as a human being. They do everything that they want to do.
In my last 3 days, I would like to go back to be a child. I would run along the boulevard on my bare feet just to chase a white butterfly, enjoying the decoration of dirt and mud on my soles. I would climb up the tree to catch the kite I had left there by accident, ignoring the clothes torn by the branches...
Being a child, I would not and would not have to know how to deal with a relationship in a business way. I would not judge a book by its cover. I would make friends with whoever treats me as someone to care for. It is not about what material profits I can get from him or her. It is about how much he or she is willing to give up for me. Maybe in my last days, I would encounter a girl who can only give me a bar of chocolate, which costs much less than a luxurious watch but is already half of her having.
Supposed I would end my life as an innocent child, I would definitely keep decorating my dreamland with the strongest color till the last moment. I would be bold in imaging what my life should be and never take serious of hailstones falling upon. With the girly thought of being a model, I would wear the reddest lipstick, put on the garment covered in most sequins and catwalk in front of millions when the track is on. I don't care about the rumors regarding me as a freak. I would be smiling, laughing and waving to my family in the distance. I would be showering in the flashlight...
And the music stops.
