What is the role of business education?
Business has become vital in our everyday lives. Economically-speaking, it plays a major role in providing products and services and creating job opportunities, thus improving the lives of humans. The various disciplines of business such as accounting, finance and marketing indirectly influence our daily lives and serve as the backbone of the corporate world. In today's society, a degree in commerce is extremely useful and practical because an in-depth knowledge of business applies in every field and industry. It also acts as a stepping stone to new opportunities and experiences. Business studies help students to develop the essential transferable skills that employers demand, which include superior communication skills, self-reliance, and analytical capabilities
From its dynamic environment to its fast paced productivity, I see business as a high energy and exciting field. It is an industry with unlimited growth potential, constantly expanding and growing to meet the needs of customers. Studying business enables individuals to cope with change and become equipped for life in this new era. As Peter Drucker once stated, "The entrepreneur always searches for change, responds to it, and exploits it as an opportunity."
