I am writing to express my keen interest in the Master's Degree in Life Sciences at Université PSL. With a solid foundation in chemistry from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), I am eager to delve deeper into the interdisciplinary realms of biology, ecology and related fields that this program offers.
During my Bachelor's studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, I followed the track of Organic, Inorganic Chemistry, and Biochemistry, with a particular emphasis on Biochemistry. Throughout my coursework, I completed subjects such as Clinical Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology - Metabolism Control, Enzymology, Structural Biochemistry - Basics of Biocomputational Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry I, and Biochemistry II. These courses not only provided me with a strong foundation in biochemical principles and gave me lab experience but also deepened my interest in the complex interplay between biological systems and molecular chemistry. I am confident that this background has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the interdisciplinary environment offered by your Master's program in Life Sciences and especially in fields like cellular and developmental biology, medical sciences, computational biology and bioinformatics. In addition to my academic training, I developed a strong work ethic and learned to perform well under pressure, especially during the completion of my bibliographic diploma thesis in the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry. This experience taught me how to manage time effectively, conduct in-depth research, and synthesize complex information, all of which will be valuable as I take on the challenges in your program. What excites me most about the Master's Degree in Life Sciences at PSL is the program's interdisciplinary approach and the collaboration among esteemed institutions such as École Pratique des Hautes Études. I have always admired the integration of different scientific fields, and this approach resonates with me, given my diverse academic experiences. Since my Bachelor's degree, I have actively engaged in various extracurricular activities that have enriched my perspective and skills. From teaching experiences to architectural activities, I have embraced opportunities that allowed me to apply my scientific knowledge in creative and practical way. Joining the Master's Degree in Life Sciences at PSL and especially the M2 in Fundamental Biology for Health would be a pivotal step in achieving my long-term academic and professional goals. By providing access to cutting-edge research, a collaborative environment, and mentorship from world-renowned experts, this program will not only prepare me for a future Ph.D. but also fully equip me to pursue high-impact roles in industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and environmental science
In conclusion, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to join the Master's Degree in Life Sciences at Université PSL. My academic background in chemistry, with a focus on biochemistry, along with my hands-on research experience, has provided me with a solid foundation to succeed in this interdisciplinary program. I am particularly drawn to the program's collaborative approach and its emphasis on fields like cellular and developmental biology, medical sciences, and bioinformatics. I am confident that my experiences, combined with my passion for scientific discovery, will allow me to contribute meaningfully to your academic community. Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to and grow within the dynamic environment at PSL.

The paper you have written is more of an academic biography. This is not the same as a motivational letter. There should be 2 clear, stand out reasons in your motivational letter. The academic reason and the professional reason. This focuses only on your academic history which, although a part of a motivational letter, does not complete the required information for the letter. I am not sure if you were given a specific writing guide for this essay so I am offering you an observation based on the standard requirements for a motivational letter. The way I see it, this motivational letter can use more of a profession direction. Balance out the professional direction, needs, and academic requirements to meet the proper information content for a motivational letter.
