Dear Admissions Committee,

Science and nature had always been fascinating to me. In these 23 years of my journey in time, the only constant that I have seen is 'The Change' -A process of continuous evolution in science and technology as well as climate change. My name is XXXX. My main motive for applying to the Joint Master's Programme in "Electric Vehicle Propulsion and Control" (E-PiCo) under the "Erasmus Mundus " is to develop innovative technologies to make electric vehicles more efficient and affordable for all. I think the massive adoption of sustainable technology in countries like India will lead to a positive effect on climate change globally.

This Master's program with financial aid can help me to bring some of my ideas to life with a potential gain of knowledge in areas like Microprocessors, Electric Drives, Machine Learning, and Embedded Systems. It will also set a path for further research during my Ph.D.

It wasn't until I join the XXXX Racing team during graduation that I had discovered my passion for cars. Here I have learned how failures lead to the rise of new ideas. My undergraduate courses had provided a strong foundation in the areas of "Mathematics and Physics" and also introduced me to the inspirational stories of scientists behind them. With the opportunities provided to explore, the University had not only been the place for me to develop my technical skills but also to develop my communication and leadership qualities. After graduation, getting the job opportunity to work on the E-Buses at XXXX Automotive and, In parallel, Being a volunteer for XXXX as an EV Tech Scrutineer helps me to keep my learning curve higher. Nevertheless, my interest lay beyond what I comprehend here.

I believe E-PiCo is the best choice for the masters because of its eminence in E - Mobility research. Given the presence of top-notch research facilities and reputed research faculty, I will have access to an immense array of resources at the program partnered universities to help me succeed. While exploring faculty research, I feel that the work of Prof. XXXX perfectly aligns with my interests. I would love to contribute to his work on "Synchronous Motor Drives" and "Torque Control in Electric Vehicle" given my previous experience in similar lines. Also, the research of Prof.XXXX on "Machine Learning, 'Image and Signal Processing' for Autonomous Vehicles" is something I look forward to contributing.

In conclusion, I feel that my journey in learning so far has just been the tip of an iceberg, and joining the E-PiCo under the Erasmus Mundus scholarship would help me discover the rest of my potential. I am eager to learn by working and collaborating with your erudite faculty and student body. Finally, I would like to thank the department of graduate studies for taking the time to go through my application and, I look forward to pursuing graduate studies at your prestigious Erasmus Mundus E-PiCo Program.

Based on the these 3 discussion points, develop a better motivation explanation that will focus on the development of the idea behind your advanced studies interest and personal / career interests. There need to be goals attached to the actual motivation, not a review of your undergraduate course fulfillment. Rather, you should b discussing why you chose to apply to EM instead. Aside from an interest in languages, which is a normal given for the applicants, what other aspects of the scholarship do you feel will help you accomplish your motivating factors? There is no need to discuss the fact that you need financial aid because the scholarship automatically comes with it. What you have to justify are your academic and professional motivating factors along with a clear interest in promoting the objectives of the EM scholarship program.

The choice of university should indicate several choices, all based on different curriculum factors. How these master courses differ in terms of helping your career will be an excellent motivation discussion.
