I have been acquainted with XXX for the last eight years, out of which he spent four years as an engineering student in our institute.

I have handled signals and systems, DSP architecture and image processing during the third, sixth and seventh semesters respectively, of his engineering course. He has consistently performed well and stood within the top 5 in his class of 90 students. He has fared very well in all the subjects I have handled. He has shown very keen interest in digital signal processing from his college days. He was able to suggest logical solutions for the problems encountered during the project implementation phase. I am confident that he will excel in his higher studies. For his technical paper related to his final year engineering project, he won the first prize in the state level paper presentation contest organized in our institution.

He is interested in strengthening his academic proficiency by pursuing his Masters in his interested field of Digital Communication. He has ambitions to contribute significantly to digital communication technology. I believe that his endurance and analytical skills will contribute significantly to the research at your institute.
