How do any of you think a roommate will react to this? (This is for Stanford)

Hello roommate. My name is Eric Li and you better not mind music in the background. I prefer music in the background because it makes life more "lively." I will listen to certain songs when I feel a certain way or under certain circumstances. But the song I listen to most often is weezer's back to the shack. In fact, to get to know me better now, play weezer's back to the shack as you read this essay.

Aside from being a music lover, I am otherwise quite. I may not talk much but don't take my silence as any form of hostility. I am open minded and willing to listen to what you have to say and I may even take interest in some of your interests. Otherwise, my interests include anime, science magazines, class, art, or entrepreneurship.

Even we don't have the same interests, and don't talk much I'm willing to hang out with you and do volunteer work or anything of your interest. Even If we don't talk much we can do things together and I'm willing to try.

When I first meet you, there are going to be some things I want to do with you. First, I want to explore as much of the campus as possible and meet new people. I always explore whenever I get the chance. Second, I want to have lunch or dinner with you to get to know you better. Tell me about yourself. After that we'll get along, right?

Well, it sounds mean, but making it sound rude won't make it any better.
