Motivation Letter
In this letter I would like to tell you about myself and why I want to undergo a month of training in the summer school, which I learned from people who have studied in my university and also underwent a month of training in this summer school.
At the moment I am a 3rd year student of biochemistry in ______. Before beginning my studies at the university, I studied two years of in-depth chemistry and biology in high school.
Since my specialization Biochemistry, in the University I study a lot of special subjects which concern not only the biochemical sciences, but also various others, such as chemistry, genetics, biology, biotechnology, microbiology, and etc.
Surely, university studies have affected such disciplines as languages, economics, political science, sociology, history and many others.
Currently, in addition to learning at the university, I pass the practice in the ____ in protein engineering laboratories, in which I got (and still get) the necessary knowledge in the practical applications of various methods.
My scientific interests are related to cytochrome P450 and the development of new and effective treatment of tuberculosis. I'm studying the ligand-binding properties of the mycobacterial cytochromes P450 to the azoles drugs. My course work is closely connected with this study. However, my interests are not limited only this subject. Also I would be interested to learn more about Molecular biology and Biophysics. I want to know more about modeling interactions in biomolecules and how cholesterol is affect the G protein conformation and functional activity.
I believe that the summer school will help me to learn a lot in this area, and this knowledge, diligence and ability to learn fast helps me in the further works.
