In this essay I am going to explain why population practically exploded in the 1700'S. There are eleven categories but some join up with others for the same kind of meaning.
In this category there are three sections which are Clever Kids, Young love and Baby boom. Young love is about after 1700, Couples got married earlier in their early twenties so they had more time than others to have children, because they were married. Also there is Clever kids which was that education improved by a mile so schools taught things like English, Maths, Cookery, Needlework and so on. Then Children get better jobs and get paid so they live longer because they are not dying of stavingness.Baby boom that was where after 1800 more factories were made, so they employed children to work in all the factories so they got paid, so parents had more children so they could have more money. This partly helped in the population rise because people had more children.
In this category there are four sections, That I am going to talk about which are Doctors and Nurses, Magic Midwives, Jenners Jabs and Cleaner Cities. Doctors and Nurses was that after 1870 doctors started to use things like like anaesthetic and antibiotics to stop diseases caused by bacteria but they didnt know that then, and also so they die from diseases. Magic Midwives, which was after 1750 midwives started caring for patients more to stop illnesses until they were better, and and by that time some rich hospitals had also got maternaty bedsso pregnant women and children didnt have to lie on the floor while the they were in labour. Jenners jabs was when after 1796 Jenner vaccinated against like Smallpox (Britains worst disomg usher ease), so less people died from the disese. Cleaner Cities was that after 1860 councils started taking care of their cities so they could be stopped from illnesses and diseases, They also got things like clean water and all the taps started producing clean water. This helped a lot in stopping people dying in the population growth because people didnt die of diseases.
In this category there is two sections which are Super soap and Smelly Pants. Super soap was about after 1800 soap became really cheapand readily packed so people got soap easily. Also Smelly Pants was about after 1800, cotton started becoming really popular. So people started using cotton instead of wool which was mainly used and cotton was easier to wash. But also wool carries bad things like diseses. This was slightly the reason about population growth because people didnt get ill from uncleanness.
In this category there is one section which is all about fab farmers. Fab farmers was that after 1750 farmers started to produce healthier food like fruit and veg more
often , which ment the population was healthier and people didnt die of things like obesity and eating no fruit and veg. So the population was healthier. This lightly helped in population growth brcause of healthiness.
In this category there is one section which is Sobering up. Sobering up was that after 1700 alchol like gin was really cheap, so people bought more andgot really drunk and maybe went unconscious and died so the government put tax on alchol so only rich people had enough money to buy it. But if you were poor you couldnt but alchol and food so they made a decision which was normally food. This had a bit of an impact on population growth because of alchol.
To conclude I am going to write about what I think the most important sections about population rise was. I think it was doctors and nurses, midwives, Jenners jabs, cleaner cities and young love. My reasons for doctors and nurses was that if they didnt have things like antibiotics and aneastetics then people would be ill. Midwives because if there wernt midwives pregnant women might make stupid decisions. Jenners jabs because he vaccinated against diseases like smallpox which helped. Cleaner cities because if you had dirty water then you could easily die. And finally young love because people had more children to get more money into their family. That is why population changed from 5 million in 1700s to 8 million in 1800s and so on.
