The threat of food security and low livestock productivity has become a critical challenge for Indonesia, particularly in the red meat sector. To address this, the Indonesia-Australia Red Meat & Cattle Partnership (IARMCP) has prioritized livestock productivity through strategic knowledge transfer. As a follow-up action to this initiative, I contributed as a technical field assistant during the feed technology practical sessions at Universitas Gadjah Mada. I lead hands-on workshops of silage technology, raw material quality control, and mineral block productions. This experience raise the importance of feed quality and production standards, while simultaneously building my leadership in in livestock nutrition.
Following this foundation, I further specialized in poultry nutrition with more complex productivity challenges. I implemented my expertise as a technical educator consultant at PT Medion Ardhika Bhakti. Focusing on the poultry industry, I authored several educational articles for farmers to maximize productivity and reduce their reliance in antibiotic growth promoters by introducing various feed additive alternatives. I also assisted in developing costumize feed formulation for multiples farm sites by aligning farmer goals and field challenges. My leadership and teaching capabilities was further established through my responsibility in training field personnel in livestock nutrition, feeding management, and feed quality control. By interpreting feed quality testing data, provided technical recommendations and assisted in developing precision feed formulations for our costumers. These action directly help farmers adopt strategic feeding method, optimize production efficiency, and ensuring product security. Ultimately, this practice build my ability to use data-driven evidence to provide holistic solutions to industry challenges.
