Hello everyone. My name is Fafa and now I'm working on my scholarship application /Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS).
I would really appreciate if you can review my essay. Thank you
5.List any possible constraints you think may prevent you from achieving above tasks. (max. 2000 characters)
There are two possible primary constraints in implementing my post-study initiatives. First, developing a validated synbiotic premix prototype requires high capital-investment and intensive process, including laboratory testing, compliance with national manufacturing standard, and interdisciplinary involvement. To overcome this, I plan to apply for the Australian Alumni Grants (AAG). This funding will strengthen and leverage my research into tangible and market-ready product. Furthermore, launching such as product requires expertise beyond animal science, I will collaborate with the AAS alumni network who have background business modeling, supply chain management, and veterinary medicine. By forming a cross-sectoral team, the premix production will become a sustainable business plan, making it both commercially viable and accessible for local farmers in Yogyakarta.
Second, based on my experience in technical education, building trust with local farmers regarding new technology is a significant challenge, as many remain skeptical of new products that alters heir previous production method. My strategy to mitigate this is to partner with my former lecturer at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Professor Ali Agus. He is not only a renowned expert but also a multi-livestock farm owner, from forage cultivation, big and small ruminant farm, and poultry farm. I will utilize this opportunity to create a demonstration plot where I could provide farmers with a clear and visible reference of the success of synbiotic application. To further scale this impact, I will collaborate with Prof. Ali's network and local government to host seminars and practical workshops. By showing, real-life results and data-driven evidence from a trusted local source, I can confidently convince small-scale farmers to use sustainable alternatives and directly improving livestock productivity.
