During my professional experience and academic journey, I realized that comprehensive education regarding alternative feed additive and livestock microbiota is vital. I believe by pursuing a Master of Animal Science in Australia, I will gain technical mastery to address the complex interactions between tropical climate challenges, raw material characteristics, and the development of alternative feed additives.
This study will be the cornerstone of my career as university lecturer. It provides the opportunity to collaborate with leading professors and feed experts in Australia. It will equip me with skills to conduct high-impact research on alternative feed additive like synbiotics as a solution of more stable and synergistic impact as a key solution to replace antibiotic growth promoter (AGP). Furthermore, I will gain credibility required to design evidence-based curricula. This program will allow me to educate future livestock stakeholders about sustainable feed formulation. I also could benchmark to advance Australia's livestock management against the Indonesian industry to find applicable solutions.
This experience will refine my critical thinking, adaptability, and leadership awareness as an agent of change. I aim to became a future bridge of Australia's sophisticated research with the Indonesian small-scale livestock enterprises in Yogyakarta and across Indonesia. By implementing alternative feed additive through community development programs, I will contribute to securing food security, promoting sustainable livestock, and applying antimicrobial (AMR) free farming management. Ultimately, this this journey will ensure Indonesia's national food security, resilient livestock industry, and the supply of safer and high-quality animal protein sources for the public.
