Leadership and influence - chevening
When I was younger, My preferred time was when i have company of people who were older, stronger and more skilled than i did . i sought to use that chance to rise up to my ambition and my positive outlook to life . My good qualities enhanced , positive thinking , leadership and influence skills.
Leasership skills do not appear overnight, When i was 14 years old when i led my classmates into a successful peaceful strike against our two teachers that didn't show up for the entire year with no excuses when we needed them the most , our protest against their continuous absence was a very crucial matter in our high school . when i noticed that i got out of my comfort zone i then decided to try some new things .A leader has to be able to openly discuss any subject with his team, or employees and a leader should have the capacity to present, defend and debate his ideas or their counterpart, a leader should be able to pitch his projects, his ideas for change and that what I've been working on through attending alkhaima English Speakers group with its 3 different weekly activities the debate club, the round table discussion and the perfect your pitch training which helped me . I tried also to be part of other associations like "AlIrfan" where i teach children English. It was a difficult task with limited human and finance resources. I have dealt with the bureaucracy needed to secure a place at the youth house where we successfully carried on the event. When I graduated high school, i went to college and i figured that it was totally different with new exciting experiences, i was an essential organizer of the Cultural day of subsaharian african students , a whole day for them to teach us about their culture and their traditions , it was an important event and almost all students attended .We have had so many activities that were fun and beneficial. I felt for the first time the vitality of developing the ability to lead and inspire a team to perform their best and commit to achieve goals. The most important value that I have is my integrity. I m honest and trust-worthy in all my actions which establish trust amongst our team. And we are in result eagerly and actively working towards bringing forth this WikiStage event for the first time in our region desert.
In nutshell, leaders manage to create chances to change their society and country, influences a group towards the goal achievement to refine life quality. As a young leader, I aspire to inspire motivate, connect and make an impactful change in my local community and in where ever or whatever endeavours life puts through, I firmly believe that If I happen to secure the, Chevening scholarship push me further towards my goals.Holt Educational Consultant - / 14,835

Unless your presentations can represent the development of your leadership and influencing abilities on a professional or community level you will not have an appropriate leadership and influencing essay. This essay sounds too much like you do not really have any idea what Chevening is looking for in their applicants. Only the last paragraph could actually be considered for use in a new version of your essay.
Focus your next version on your professional leadership abilities. Job based leadership and influencing qualifications based on work demands will best represent the requirements of Chevening. Specially if your professional reference directly refers to a national or international reflection of leadership skills. If you do not have that, then your most recent community service leadership activity in a social organization will suffice. As long as you portray yourself as an adult leader and influencer who knows how to resolve issues and influence the decisions of people during a problem assessment process.
