my answer :
I believe in networking wherever I go. Starting from my college, I was a president of the student union, so I could make a good relationship with my colleagues that are now heading in most channels, filmmaking industry, colleges and radio stations.
Moreover, I could also make a good relationship with my professors in my college and every course or workshop I took. Also, I made 75 documentaries in 20 countries, which allowed me to establish a lot of good connections with filmmakers in the world.
In addition to, I used to attend every event about the documentary in my homeland, and, I am a member of a documentary filmmakers association in my country that helps me to know who work in the same field.
Also, I travelled in 2010 to take a documentary course with Dox Box Association in Syria in this time and now it based in Germany. At that time, I knew many Arab and foreign filmmakers. Moreover, I worked in Dubai between 2014 - 2015, so I made many connections that work in documentary or other media platforms.
I am looking forward to making a relationship with people in all specialities wherever I go. For example, now I moved to Qatar from 6 months, I attended every event in Qatar for documentary and visited the most important associations in cinema in Qatar to know who work in it and how can we cooperate with each other.
It will be a pleasure to meet other Chevening students and share every activity with them and search together, how can we help each other and how we will help our countries.
Moreover, I will use these contacts in the future to achieve my goals like my movie, which I want to make it show in the cinema in Egypt because we do not have any documentary shown before. Also helping others to do the same until people in Egypt used to go to the cinemas to watch a documentary and they used to share their stories with others and become a sender not receiver only because we need to be more interactive with our societies and create a new type of cinema will improve the quality of the Egyptians so; I think my contacts will be very useful to reach my goal.
