Networking involves building and maintaining contacts and relationships with other people. Global changes both in business, Education, technology etc has given need to develop good networking skills for effective interaction and productivity.I have studied and worked over the years years as a citizen of Nigeria which has helped me develop strong social and professional networking skills. Below are some examples of my networking abilities.
I studied in Enugu State University of science and technology and i have participated in different social and religious clubs like Nsukka student associations, catholic student fellowships etc with this i have engaged, developed and maintain strong relationships with hundreds of fellows from different local governments.
As an origin of Enugu state Nigeria,i have been a member of Enugu youth development centre sponsored by special adviser to the governor on youth affairs which our major aims was to empower youths on leadership skills, productive skills, Agricultural skills, and social entrepreneurship skills,this helped to add to my networking skills and with the help of this plate form i have travelled over 18 states within the country to empower youths and this helped me to establish close relationship with hundreds and thousands of youths within the country.
In university, i was a member of ASA (Architectural Students Association). As a member of this association,i have travelled on various excussions but locally and international. This helped me alot to meert other architectural students, and professionals, learn more on other architectural styles and traditional architecture.
After my graduation in the university, i joined the Eminent Architects. An organization which involves departmental architectural fellows, with the help of this organization i still maintain relationships with my other fellow departmental Architectural colleagues.
In November 2015, i was employed as a project manager in Architectural firm named Fame konsult. As a project manager i was able to develop more on my abilities to work under pressure, creat new ideas and mostly work effectively in a team.
In summary, with the above mentioned network abilities which i have engaged and developed,with the help of organizing training i can be able to empower and influence other professionals in chevening community on leadership skills, social entrepreneurship skills, productive skills, Agricultural skills and even empower them more on values and characters and how they can approach and relate with people according to their temperamentsHolt Educational Consultant - / 14,801

That is because the networking skill that you depict has no connection with your professional life. Since you are applying for a masters degree scholarship and you have been working professionally as a project manager since 2015, it is expected that, over the course of 2 years, you have somehow managed to developed a useful professional network. The professional network is a requirement of the scholarship as this will be used to assess whether you have a network that can further improve the already existing network of Chevening and, if the current network of the program will be of use to you. You must delete all of the prior academic and socio-civic references because of the obvious lack of connection with your profession. Discuss a project that you managed instead. Explaining the importance of networking in this instance and how you managed to create the necessary network and how you have cultivated the same for your future use. After you have done that, don't forget to explain how this network will be of a major benefit to the Chevening community upon your inclusion into the scholarship program.
