I am an undergraduate applicant from India who has been raised by my mother as my primary and sole guardian. Growing up in a single-parent household taught me responsibility, emotional strength, and independence at an early age. All my academic decisions and preparations have been made under her guidance, and her sacrifices continue to motivate me to work hard and build a stable future.

I completed my middle school education at a military school, where discipline, routine, and teamwork were an essential part of daily life. Adjusting to hostel life after the COVID-19 lockdown was challenging, especially staying away from my family without access to mobile phones. However, by following a structured routine and seeking guidance from seniors, I learned resilience, consistency, and self-control. These experiences helped shape my character and prepared me for life in a demanding academic environment.

During my time at military school, I actively participated in drill and football. Our team secured second place at the district level, and through sports I learned teamwork, leadership, and time management. Later, my academic path shifted when I joined ITI, where I gained practical exposure to technical subjects. This experience helped me realize that my long-term interest lies in technology. I became particularly interested in computer engineering because it combines logic, creativity, and problem-solving.

I am especially interested in coding and application development, as they allow me to turn ideas into practical solutions. In the future, I also wish to explore artificial intelligence, particularly in building informative and user-focused applications. Korea's advanced technological environment, structured academic culture, and strong industry-academia connection align well with my disciplined background and technical interests.

I am not sure why you posted the same essay twice in the box. It did not help me assess your application based on the reviewers possible requirements. The information that you have posted is incomplete and would not meet the minimum criteria of the GKS = U scholarship program. It is a goof start but an incomplete draft. I might say it has potential, but cannot be truly sure because of the curt discussion presentation. You need to download the application packet or look at the sample personal statements at this website so that you can develop a more useful presentation essay. Right now, I do not see this as being helpful to your application. It needs more information and work based upon the GKS writing guidelines.
