I am applying for a Masters in Art History and I'm required to write a study plan for it. To be honest, I'm quite baffled as to what I should write because I haven't done anything like this before. Also, my Bachelors is in a whole other area of study...
Anyways, the prompt is:

During the first year of my stay in Korea, naturally, I expect to learn the language and achieve a high TOPIK score. Due to my great interest, I have been teaching myself Korean for the past year, so I have a most basic understanding of the language. However, being immersed in the culture itself will surely allow me to become a proficient speaker. I understand there will be a lot of challenges to tackle and a lot of hard work to be done, but I am looking forward to it and will do my very best.
In regards to pursuing a Master's degree - I chose Art History because of my passion for the subject. In spite of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in International Business, my true ardor has always been art. I strongly believe it has more to it than simply museum pieces, aesthetically pleasing to the eye. No, art is a media humans have mastered, through which they convey their emotions and reactions to changes in both their internal and external environment. One can learn a lot about the world and any undergoing transformations from examining even a single painting. This is why, through studies, I want to become someone who helps people understand the importance of art in the development and shaping of our society. Furthermore, I want to be able to inspire and instill a passion for art in others.
I would like to focus my studies on the history of Modern and Contemporary art since they reflect on issues of our recent history. My concern lies especially with Painting, both Western and Eastern, but I would not disregard other works of art. Considering the fact that nowadays Korea has become one of the leaders in feminist art, I would like to gain an in-depth knowledge about the evolution of the movement and its response to current global issues.
Equally important are Curatorial studies, through which I expect to gain an understanding of institutional and exhibition practices and forms. I intend to reinforce my theoretical knowledge with frequent visits to Seoul's museums and galleries, as well as, if possible - internships. This will allow me to acquire practical skills and know-how in curation.
I believe that an academic institution which provides the individual with an environment of diversity and freedom of expression is crucial to the development of good professionals. Being able to contribute to society and being beneficial to the growth of others are factors valued highly by me, so choosing a university which provides with the conditions necessary for doing so, together with quality education, is very important. And I am confident I have made the right choice.

You should answer 3 main questions properly:
1. Goal of study = > it's related with your future career. Why you choose this master studies. You should give your background that support your master degree (previous education, working experience, etc)
2. Title or subject of research => you should focus in one or two topics. Why these topic crucial? Don't forget mention the impact your research to your society, your country, etc.
3. Detailed study plan => you should mention the example of courses in your master degree and give short explanation why this subject important.

To address your points:
1.I have no educational or professional background related to the major (which has proven to be the main reason for the mental breakdown I'm having about this :D) . That's why I explain in the second paragraph that Art is my passion....
2. I didn't want to mention anything about specific research because I don't know what's the practice in Korea. Like, in my country one can choose their research topic and academic advisor, but at some places, you are assigned a topic by a professor.
3.As for sample courses - Modern art, Contemporary art, and Curatorial studies are all courses available in the three universities I'm applying for.

4783 Stella, write this study plan from the point of view that you have already passed the TOPIK and you have been admitted to the university as a regular masters degree student already. For the study plan, you have to concentrate on what the topic of your master thesis will be. The format for this presentation will be in the same form and content as your college thesis. Meaning, you will need the title of your research, its background, methodology, and expected outcomes. You must clearly show that you have a background in doing research.
So it is best if you decide on a topic that is somehow connected with your college thesis. That will also make it easier for you to do your own research. Since your bachelor's degree is in a different field, you will need to be extra convincing in this study plan to prove that you really have a desire to succeed in this particular career since you will be changing careers through the masters degree program.
The reviewer needs to be convinced that your desire for studying in Korea has a far more serious basis than what you just showed in your self introduction letter. The proposal that you write needs to assure the reviewer that you will be using the scholarship education to advance your personal career whether in Korea or your mother country, after graduation. So you will need to take the information that you wrote and break it down for the reviewer in a formal manner based upon the sections I have indicated.

Hi.I thought we choose field of study in relation to your past education background, I don't know if its fine to study a course unrelated to your previous degrees.
