Answer : My current profession as public relations in a government setting obliged me to always catch up with all current issues to deliver a perfect message to society. However, there is some skill that I need to train and develop in Public Relations (PR) to make an excellent promotional tool. My basic knowledge of bachelor's degrees gives me a foundation for seeing the media and communication phenomenon but not analyzing and researching the PR. All of this will help me create an impactful agenda and broader impact on the Surabaya program campaign. This led me to choose these three universities based on my need, there are:
My first choice is Media and Public Relations MA major at the University of Leicester. This course offers me a deep understanding of public relations activity based on the culture and social perspective, which is very applicable to my current job. By doing this course, I will understand PR's structure in practice and as a social or cultural phenomenon. I can see this is what I need because Surabaya has a diverse culture and needs to accommodate. As a government institution, Surabaya has many stakeholders; therefore by having skill in PR culture and society, I can make a collaborative campaign program that will attain the city objective. Finishing this course, I will have comprehensive skill in public relations strategies and insight of effective PR campaigns therefore, I will qualified as PR professional.
The second choice is Public Relations MA in The University of Westminster. This course is designed to enhance my managerial level on PR, which means I will be able to identify the opportunity ahead, guide the best practice on the campaign strategy as leader, and explore PR's professional ethics. This knowledge is fundamental because as PR I will work as team across department within city government. This course provides me with Communication Planning and Management module, which give opportunity to apply my practical skill on PR into real client, agencies and public interest campaign. Within organizational setting base module is very likely match my current work environment. My previous experiences in real PR world will equip me with basic knowledge to lead my successful understanding and apply it. Therefore, completing a master's degree in this university is in line with my future career as Head of PR in Government setting.
My third choice is Public Relations and Corporate Communication in The University of Wolverhampton. This course offers a critical analysis of public relations on political and economic factors surrounding an organization setting. The phenomenon of political situation in Indonesia greatly affected the PR practice, which needs expert skill in carrying out campaigns toward government policy. Therefore, by attending the Political Communication module, I will assess and learn deeply about PR's role within political decision-making and other public affairs. This is very much fit my need on deepening the knowledge and skill on investigating political process. Finishing my master degree here, I will graduate as an expert on public sector institution PR.Holt Educational Consultant - / 14,835

This type of essay response requires you to be highly specific in each paragraph with regards to the basis of your interest in the course and ability to follow the course curriculum of the university.
Every university needs its own paragraph. Each paragraph must state the following:
- A description of your undergraduate courses that have helped prepare you for these studies (foundational courses).
- How your undergraduate studies have applied to your current work duties and responsibilities ( current job description in relation to the masters course)
- Your current duties and responsibilities as it applies to the course choice. Be definite about how the current work experience applies to the course
- Future application in relation to career plans.
Chevening requires their students to prove that they have had a successful educational and career path so far in relation to your future plans. This is your chance to show the reviewer that you have prepared all your undergraduate and professional life for this scholarship. That is why they require that all the students have a well rounded education that creates a clear career path for them based upon educational attainment in the past, current professional experience, and future academic and career advancement.
