Should I Get A 'Do-Over'?
If I could get one 'do-over' in life, what would it be and why? Well, I would say the beginning of my freshman year, so I can change my study habits. However, I would have to say that I would not want that 'do-over', because I am happy with my life. And everything happens for a reason.
My parents have told me that every single thing happens for a reason. There are a lot of people who do not know or understand that, but it is true. Six years ago, my mom was having some complications with life, people, and trust. She ended up having to drop me and my little brother at my dad's house in Florida while she worked things out. Since my mom did not want to be alone on her way back home, after she dropped me and my brother off at my dad's house, my mom's friend had a friend who was not busy and was alright with accompanying my mom for several hours. \ That friend ended up being my mom's husband.
If my mom did not have those complications, then she would not have met the man of her dreams, her husband, and also the father of my new baby brother. I know my mom did not like going through those complications, neither did I. But it is like what my parents said to me, "Everything happens for a reason." I now tell that to my friends whenever they are going through problems and they ask me why things are happening. I also tell that to my little brother and sister. Everything, every tragedy, every break-up, every little complication, happens for a reason.
