"You can do anything but not everything". The quote brings so many meanings to my position as a potential candidate for Valedictorian. Throughout my junior high career in Father Scollen, I have faced more than my fair share of obstacles, those obstacles would force me to stop my journey to greatness. With time, I have overcome and with those hindrances, I found myself. A more refined, boundless, and wiser Celdric. Valedictorian is such a broad term with a meaning that would have adjectives ranging from the obvious to the obscure. But, I strongly believe that all of those qualities comes down into one point and that is being a role model. I have confidence that I posses that qualifications to obtain the prestigious title of Valedictorian. I believe my impulsiveness, enthusiasm/willingness to learn, and limitless drive are the key for my position as the strongest contender for Valedictorian.

Students unintentionally often deprive themselves of great opportunities because they hold themselves back. They're scared of "what can be" and missed out on "what could have been". Students run scenarios of what can unfold if they push through, they don't realize that this may be their greatest decision they have made. Slowly over time, I have transitioned to being a more impulsive thinker. Not letting myself be put back because of my insecurities and just putting myself out there. Each student in this school all have a unique talent, if they swipe away their insecurities and show the world what they're capable of. Our school would fully embrace their talent and even support them to showcase to a larger audience. I believe my impulsiveness have brought great opportunities that I would never thought would be possible to attain. A great example is Danceworks. For so long, I have been longing to perform and dance but also for so long, I've held myself back because I thought I wasn't good enough. But lo and behold, I was quite good at it. With that new discovery, I found myself a new passion filled with exciting possibilities. I believe I posses a great quality that will help me inspire fellow students to follow their heart and also help myself differentiate from other competitors and with that earn the prestigious title. Even though, my impulsive thinking is just one of three qualities I believe would make me the strongest candidate for Valedictorian. To go along with this, another essential feature for Valedictorian is enthusiasm/willingness to learn and how it's an important component of every Valedictorian.

Tardiness gets the best of all of us, with that our quality of work decreases because of it. We can always blame the school like we always do because it's true, school is pretty exhausting. In spite of that, I do my best and always give it my all because I trust that someday, all of this would somehow benefit my bright and prosperous future filled with opportunities thanks to the hard work I put in all those years ago. Some would say my ideals are stupid and delusional but I think it's confidence and positive thinking. Confidence in yourself that you will succeed in life and positive thinking that somehow everything would come together in a beautiful harmony. With my junior high career, I have built up my willingness to learn. My willingness to learn has brought me a 90% GPA currently and an overwhelmingly positive response from my respective teachers.

That achievement has constantly inspired me to excel in my studies and partake in extracurricular activities. I considered the willingness to learn to be a very significant quality to become Valedictorian because we are moving forward in our journey to adulthood. Even though, we are leaving, we are the oldest of the school community in terms of students so we must make ourselves an example. An example to be followed. Especially a Valedictorian, because you achieved that title because you transcended other students in, if not all sections of studies & arts. . A willingness to learn can help students endure an intense school year while still excelling in their studies. Willingness to learn go hand in hand with an impulsive attitude, but it wouldn't be a whole package without being limitless.

All too regularly, we are tied down by society's norms. Straying too far from what society deems normal is a death sentence in school. We are put down by it, bullied to a pulp because of it. With that, we are scared and we try to blend with crowd and just try to be normal. These kind of situations is what hindering our school and society as a whole from moving to a more prosperous future. People are dictating what is normal. Who knows what normal is anyway? Normal is just society's way of telling you need to act a certain way to be deemed acceptable in their eyes. That's why we are dealing with cases of bullying, depression, suicides and many more. Well, I am here to stand against this hateful crime. I am more than eager to say to the whole entire school that it's okay who be you are because you don't come to school everyday to impress them, you come to school to show the world who you are and take part in a lifetime journey to maturity. I strongly believe that we must be a role model to these kids who are struggling to go school everyday because it's too much pain and suffering. We need to do these because they look up to us, we need to come together and show them being who you are is what makes you special. Don't limit yourself to what other people say, break free of what society's norms. Stop lying to the world and yourself, start living your life and not someone else's. I am deeply passionate about this because I have been in those positions. It was hard just getting through one day of school, let alone 190 days of school. I only changed when I met my role model, he showed me that it's okay to be you and we should not dictated by society but by ourselves. I believe that it's Valedictorian's duty to uphold that ideal and demonstrate that being limitless and being free will ultimately decide how your junior high career will turn out.

Valedictorian is an ideal I hold close to my heart. In the end, I regard Valedictorian to be so much more than high GPAs and wholehearted participation in volunteer work and extracurricular activities. It's about partaking in the school and it's inhabitants. Constantly demonstrating that trying out new activities yields to positive results. Somehow positively affecting each one of them. Rising to be a role model and aid to the younger students whose lives are filled with unnecessary chaos. Possessing the necessary qualities including impulsive thinking, enthusiasm/ willingness to learn, and a limitless drive. A Valedictorian is someone we can all look up to, someone we can all relate to, someone we can wish to be. I truthfully believe with the qualities I bear, I am strongest candidate to serves as Valedictorian for the Grade 9 of 2014-2015.

To make the readers grasp your idea more easily, it is better to introduce your idea at the beginning of each paragraph. Then, use all means to support the idea, such as reason, example, detail data and/or effect of the it.

They're scared of "what can be" and missed out on "what could have been".
do not use abbreviation unless it is for a specific term, about which you still need to give a brief explain

A Valedictorian is someone we can all look up to, someone we can all relate to, someone we can wish to be. I truthfully believe with the qualities I bear, I am strongest candidate to serves as Valedictorian for the Grade 9 of 2014-2015.
