TRUE LOVE
Flushed with excitement at the thought of 'my new blog' The excitement when first baby is born, the excitement when you top in an exam, excitement and freshness you feel about your first love is no different from the excitement of starting a new blog- atleast for me :P
Oh did I just say 'love ' now? Love--the most powerful word that has got wide variety of definitions. This word has become so common that we use it hundreds of times when we converse-"Oh I loved that phone!","She's driving me crazy dude..I love her ya!!"(mostly used my guys :D)We use this word to express our likeness- from materials to a person. Unfortunately, the word today has lost its true meaning. There's no irony in saying that it's we the youth or teenagers who have changed the true meaning.
So what's love??
Is it just a feeling? But feeling what? Feeling crazy?
May be the youth today have understood the meaning this way. Do you agree?? I've got my own explanations..
Here's what the holy scripture has to say about love and yes, I definitely believe this what true love is..
It goes like this..
Love is patient, love is kind.
Love does not envy
It does not boast
It is not proud
It does not dishonor others
It is not self-seeking
It is not easily angered
It keeps no record of wrongs
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Now that we've known the true meaning of love, tell me does love exist only between a Boy friend and Girl friend?
It's okay when you love your BF/GF. What about the love we get from our parents, brothers & sisters, friends, relatives?? We either forget or ignore 'em,don't we? Generally, we find people going in search of love not realizing the love around 'em.
Today we rage against our own blood for wordly pleasures. We often see siblings going to courts fighting for their ancestral property, isn't this true?
Aren't we being jealous? And we call this love?
Most prominent in India are the acid attacks. Even the KG students are aware of this! We throw acid at our friend who rejected our proposal. We commit such atrocities and we still call it love??
We booze & hang around like an insane hurting our parents only because a girl/boy rejected us. Is it called love? I don't think so. Because it's not the quality of love to hurt others.
Just think if can amend the definition of love in our minds? Can we change our parameters we had for love?
Definitely yes! We keeping calling our BF/GF and say hundreds of times and say that we love them. We hardly say to our parents & siblings that we love them. Let's put all our egos aside and take this moment to express our love..Take time off to celebrate love in your own way..Just one "I love you" brings change in your attitude. How much the other person tries to hate you, keep practicing love..I dare say one day they would start loving you. They can't stop themselves falling in love with you when you have imbibed the qualities of true love (as mentioned in Holy scriptures)
P.S: I thought of keeping the blog as succinct as possible. But emotions failed me :D How would you express your love?

Add this: THEY SAY LOVE IS BLIND, BUT MINE IS DEAF. Deaf to gossips,wars, hatred. Then I realize love should be deaf!
