This is my first time writing an Autobiography. Is this good enough?
My name is X. I am the eldest of four siblings and the only son in my family. Growing up as the son of a ship mechanic, I was fascinated by how complex parts work together to move a massive vessel. This curiosity naturally evolved into a passion for "digital engines" software. My supportive parents taught me that while we live simply, education is the bridge to a better future.
My journey was not without challenges. In my early years, I was overly relaxed about my studies. However, the transition to Vocational High School (SMK) became my turning point. I realized that as the eldest son, I carry a responsibility. I began practicing self-discipline, not only in my studies of Software Engineering but also through physical training at the gym. This lifestyle shift taught me that consistency is the key to overcoming any "bug" in life.
My passion for technology led me to an internship at an international app studio during my second year of vocational school. Handling professional projects like Blossom Edugroup, I learned to bridge the gap between developer logic and user needs while sharpening my debugging skills. I then applied these industry-standard practices to my final year project, where I developed a student certificate management website. This project, which converted achievements into points, became my proudest achievement as it combined my technical skills with a solution for my school community. These experiences have firmly confirmed my goal: to major in Information Engineering and Computer Science.
I am specifically drawn to the 1+3 Pre-Major Program (PMP) at Feng Chia University. Taiwan's reputation as a global technology hub, combined with Feng Chia's focus on practical, real-world applications, makes it the ideal place for me. The preparatory year will allow me to master the language, ensuring I can integrate fully into the academic community.
As a student, I will contribute my resilience and my experience in international collaboration. Having worked with a team across Bali and Singapore, I am adept at communicating in diverse environments. My goal is to use the expertise I gain at Feng Chia to create innovative tech solutions that empower others, ultimately achieving financial independence to support my family.
