Besides work, how did you spend your last summer? NYU Transfer short essays

Does anyone have any suggestions or improvements for the answer to the following prompt?

Besides work, how did you spend your last summer? (in 4 lines or less)

Prior to interning in a modernized Shanghai, I spent a few weeks visiting relatives in a familiar, quaint village in rural China. I experienced a vastly different self-sustainable culture where mornings consisted of picking up fresh milk from the local bakery and learning the authentic way to cook Chinese food. In the afternoons, I would help tend to my grandmother's precious vegetable patches, and teach my cousins Basic English.

This is very, very impressive!! Is there room to write more? At least a conclusion sentence? Can you add a little about your internship?
