myzatil 1 / - Jun 20, 2012 #1I do not intend to make myself well-known in the university. I do not wish fame and to make history. My wish is that I would be given the opportunity to contribute even in the smallest way, to help preserve the reputation and prestige of the university. Doing so is not impossible for I believe that just by being my honest self; I am able to conduct as such. I believe that I have a strong character needed to meet the demands of being a true Wisconsin student.I am an active associate and have a knack in organizing. This results in my involvement as a secretary on many occasions and events. For example, I used to be the secretary of a sports festival and was also the project leader during the sale of a Young Entrepreneurs Program. As such, I can use my ability to improve the performance of clubs and associations in the University of Wisconsin-Madison.My involvement as a peer helper during high school greatly increased my ability to build successful relationships in others. I organize people into groups of friends by suggesting different leisure activities which provide incentives for people to work together, and thus, brewing a sense of teamwork. In my view, the ability to hold a group together is a talent in itself as it strengthens the social relationship between people and contributes to the unity and friendships on campus.I realize that my contribution to the university's community may not be grand. But for me, "Big changes begin with a small step". It's not like me to tell something good but may be perceived as an empty promise. I am a realist, and one who doesn't make false promises. I consider ambition to be of utmost importance, and realize that it is useless without the support of hard work. I have a millions of dreams, but I am more than just a dreamer. I am usually content, but never satisfied.
