My name is Anthanis Shan Perera. I was born in Dubai but now I live in the pearl of Indian Ocean. I have existed nineteen years in the planet Earth. Many things that happened, all contributed to shape the person that I am now. I satisfy my curiosity toward all the interesting, strange and incredible things since I was born until now. I am a happy, funny, kind, interesting, simple person. Those are just a few of my qualities. I don't like to brag my qualities.
I grew up in healthy middle class family. My father, Milroy Perera was a Mechanical Engineer in U.A.E. My mother, Kathie Perera is a housewife. She is the greatest mother. I am so lucky to be her son. There are many good things to learn from her. I have one elder sister, currently she is doing her final year on Hospitality Management in Ceylon Hotel School. I can't forget my pets & trees because they are also part of my family. Now we have 9 dogs. We also have other pets like birds, fish, guinea pigs and so on. We have several trees that bear fruits/flowers in different months.
I came to Sri Lanka to do my education. My first pre-school was Bethany Nursery, and then I went to Ave Maria Convent Nursery. My primary & high school was Maris Stella College. I did my high school studies in English medium. My mother tongue is Sinhala. I did Ordinary Level in 2008 and got 4A, 4B & 1 C. I did Advanced Level in 2011 in Maths stream. I got results that I didn't expect.
I spent 13 years (1998-2011) of my life in this great school. During my school life I did extracurricular activities. I first did gymnastics few months. Then I was a cub scout in primary school years. I got all 3 stars during that time. I was a cadet for 4 years. I started playing hockey in grade 6. I am still a hockey player. I was a senior Library Staff member for 2 years. I joined the Red Cross Society. I participated in many activities through this great society for 4 years. I had many responsibilities. I was the Supervisor in RSC for 2010- 2011. I learned my great lessons during my school life. I didn't study hard the 2 last years in my high school life for some reasons. I wasted my time on FB online games and then my focus was on the spirituality.
I learned to swim, play organ & tennis some years. I also went to many extra classes & elocution classes during my school life. I went to Dubai several times for our vacation and went on a hockey tour to Chennai. I joined the Leo Club of Negombo Orient in 2011. It's good club to do social service activities and helps to develop my leadership skills. I am still an active member. I have many certificates, some medals & trophies up to today. I really enjoyed life. I have many great funny interesting memories still in my mind. I also took many pictures and videos of my great memories.
Now, I prefer to spend much of my time alone. I speak as little as possible. I love to laugh and say jokes to others if they like. I always try to be happy. I like to play any game, to watch funny TV series/movies if I have time. Now I enjoy reading, writing and finding solutions. I really like to eat/drink which is organic. I hobby is photography.
My religion is Roman Catholic. (You only need have faith & believe God. You can experience the presence of him.). I currently work in a team. Our ultimate goals are to increase the percentage of people going to heaven, build strong humans to fight against evil spirits using easy ways & help people to live good lives pleasant to God. My first priority is God, then my education, family and so on. I am concerned about physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. I love to serve nature & humanity. I manage some groups and pages in Facebook that will help people to gain knowledge, to give courage to help the nature & humanity and help to go in the right track.
I failed Advance Level for some reasons. I corrected them. This saying is really true - "Everything happens for a reason. Don't listen & do things that your friends say. Ask guidance from God, Angels, Saints, Good teachers. ". I successfully completed my foundation and started my BEng Civil Engineering degree in University of Wolverhampton in 2012. . I selected this degree because I love to build beautiful nature friendly creations and to help Mother Nature by stopping, reducing the harmful effects done to the nature by evil people who only think about money.
After I complete this degree, I will have the opportunity to obtain a stable and challenging career. I am always ready to face any challenge. I am not scared because I am not alone now. I need to move forward in order to reach my other goals. I will make sure my goal success.

Your essay is very informative and well-written but there is one problem that you may want to improve on, that is your essay is like a list of your different experiences and it dosen't flow well. You can add some words like "consequently", "later", "then" to make your essay flow. Good luck with your application!

Your essay is pretty okay but I feel you need to change it a little because I sort of lost interest in the middle. Make it less descriptive and more about you. Relate your stories to your goals. Good luck!
