Last summer, I took a biotechnology class at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford Connecticut which peaked my interest in biochemistry and molecular biology. I knew right away that this was what I wanted to study in college. Sometime later I attended a college fair where I received a Boston University pamphlet. As I scanned through the pamphlet, there were many interesting majors however I got extremely excited when I saw that B.U had biochemistry molecular biology as a major. The joy I felt seeing those two subjects combined as one major was overwhelming and I knew without the shadow of a doubt that B.U is a good fit for me because of the amazing variety of studies which will make it possible for me to pursue my other interest without compromising my future goal to be in medicine. Majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology at B.U will help me prepare for this future. B.U also has many wonderful internships because of its state of the art technology, resources such as Careerlink and its location in Boston.

I agree with enique94. You should specify those other interests that BU offers and perhaps something specific that students can only find in BU, whether it be a program or a professor or etc. that fits with your goals. I hope you do well.
