I am not good at English writing and really need help. Welcome any kind of advice.Thank you, I appreciate it.

Most of time, fate is not fair enough so that we get chances to help with each other. Maybe, it is kind of hard to do so, especially for a teenager, but the process to struggle with the difficulties and the happiness of those being helped can really bring me joy and pride.

I started the Port City Student Charity which is attaché to the China Charity Association and would hold activity annually, in July, 2010. And the idea originates from an unforgettable experience of my volunteer teaching for a month in White Horse town, Guizhou province. At first, I took part in it only because of the curiosity and eagerness to help those poor kids. However, the view of poor children lack of books and clothes convinced me help should come in another way. And I realized that if I want to do better I would need plan better and strategize better, including learning about the law and regulations of starting a charity. Finally, the year 2010 witnessed the setting up of Port City Student Charity. The first activity of the charity was in limited range, at the second time I added not only another four donation halls at home, but also a donation hall in Vancouver thanks to a Canadian girl's help. Our intensified advertising and efforts to add more donation halls attract many people to donate goods and money to the children. Meanwhile, here came the problem of sending the goods to the remote town.

We first made a deal with a domestic post company to deliver these books to the village in three days. However, the students got books after almost a month and many books were lost during the transportation! I decided talking to another express company with better responsibility. It was indeed a challenge of my patience. And I found Fedex because it is an international company that was widely spoken of but hardly known in Yantai. Everything seemed perfect, except that affording the cost of transportation was impossible to me or the Charity. But I had to push the "megalith" to mountaintop in any kind of way. After the painful thinking, I decided to make a deal with Fedex. I promised to advertise Fedex name in the newspaper of our charity section, in exchange of their delivering our books for free, which saved us 40,000 RMB and Fedex's 100,000 advertising RMB, and helped Fedex successfully establish a good image in Yantai. As Fedex promised in the contract, they sent our books there in half a day by airplane. When the students in Guizhou told me they received the donations and how happy they were, I knew I had done something smart and right.

The experience in the Student Charity makes me feel that every detail demands attentions, otherwise even a hearty endeavor will fall apart. I need to be conscientious towards everything, including life and study. Becoming more attentive in detail and rational in thinking, I am confident that each step forward now will be a steady and serious one.
