Hi, I am going to apply for technical internship and as per application I need to write a statement of purpose of about 1000 words. The deadline is next week so if someone could proof read my statement of purpose for grammatical mistakes ASAP and grade my essay whether Its is good or not.

As I explore the boundaries and depths of different realms of science and technology, I consider computer science and electronics as a predominant area in science and technology.
Since my childhood, I had the curiosity to perceive how gadgets worked and concepts behind them. During my 5th grade, I was able to make a wired toy car using thrown away motor which eventually got me standing ovation at my class. I then got to exposed to world of computer science during seventh grade. I got opportunity to learn QBasic programming language. I remember, entire class got programming assignment, I wrote the Qbasic code of about 200 lines which could perform basic mathematical calculation, convert all 4 number systems to one another and perform the geometrical calculation like area, volume etc. Everyone was amused by what I had written.
The childhood passion for computer science and electronics lead me to opt for Engineering degree at undergraduate at xxxx xxx xx college, one of the prominent engineering institute in xxxxx. Currently I am earning my undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering [ Elective -xxxxxx, xxxxx & xxxx and xxxxx & xxxxx]. I always enjoy the practical aspect of my studies and that is one of the reason my marks have been among top 2% in my class. Prior to my undergraduate studies, I took mathematics and computer science as a major subject at my high school.
During my first semester of my undergraduate, I participated in xxxxx competition where I develop a xxxx. All those work lead me to understand the fundamentals of electronics as well as of programming. Same semester, workshop organized by xxxxxxxx revealed me the world of open sourced softwares. Over the course of my undergraduate, I have participated in various technical events and competitions and also organized few of them. As I participated in different events and competition I got exposed to different technologies. Apart from C/C ++ programming, I also taught my self different programming language and their frameworks and libraries. I developed a website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript with D3.js and JQuery library which could visualize the data beautifully . Not only the web development, I have been learning and implementing computer vision and machine learning using OpenCV and scikit-learn with python. For more knowledge, I have been taking many online courses.
During my second year, I co-founded the xxxxx club at my college and was one of three xxxxxx ambassadors. I have always been passionate about the combining the hardware and software so I joined the xxxxxxx center, first as a general member and later as a core member. I was also part of local chapter of world's largest student run organization, where I worked on many projects. Also I was elected as a President for organizational project.
During my 4th semester project, I lead team of 4 for project titled "xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx". This project was awarded as a best project. For Computer Graphics course I made a xxxxx using xxxxx and xxxxx . Also I wrote xxx using xxxxx that detect the xxxx of specific color. In my 6th semester I participated in xxxxx largest xxxxx competition, where I with my team developed android controlled robot and implemented a web server to send data from android phone to robot, during the development process I wrote the java code for android. Currently for my final year project, I with my teammates are working on project entitled "xxxxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx". I am working with python and xxxx to detect the eye for eye gazing and java to develop the android application that could recognize the voice and send the appropriate signal to the xxxxx.
From xx May to xx July, 2016 I went under 2 weeks of internship cum intense training where I gained practical knowledge on xx xxxx xxxx and xxx xxx xxxx. Currently, I am part of xyz, one of the well known xyz company as an mobile developer intern. As an intern, I got exposed to different API for mobile development. During initial phase of my internship, I was responsible for translating the xyx android application in xxx Language. After the project completion I have been assigned to develop the android application that could be used to xxx the xxxxx. For this project, I have been working with xxxxx . Apart from my work at xyz, I am working on open sourced abc software using Java and xxxxx. Beside working on applied projects, I worked with professor xxxx which lead me to publish 2 conference paper at xxxx Conference in field of xxxx and xxxx as First Author.
With my extensive experience in applied projects as well as research projects that I implemented using different technologies like xxx, xxxx,xxxx ,xxx ,xxx and many more, I plan on starting company which focuses on xxxx after my undergraduate. I want to make sure that the company I am building is around for long term and with this goal in mind I decide to get hand on experience at an organization/institute that help me further my goals. I am looking for organization/institute that has world-class working environment and research atmosphere, best mentors, exceptional peers, and excellent infrastructures. Thus I choose xxxxx internship program. Hi, this is a good purpose essay. You described your background and interest in computer science quite well. I would in the last paragraph describe specifically exactly what you would be able to offer the company you are attempting to intern at and why they should choose you to be an intern. While you clearly have work experience, which you described well, what other aspects could you bring to the table? That would also be a good thing to include in your paper. You talked about where you wanted to go after this internship and how they would help you, but how could you help them as well?
