This is an essay for the art project "Journey."

My journey project is based on my 3-month road trip along the west coast in the USA when I was 13 years old. As soon as I read about the part one project, I recollected that trip because it was the first and last event that is so meaningful to me. Before my retirement later in my life, it would be very difficult to spend three months traveling due to busy life. Therefore, there will be any opportunities to travel in such a condition with my family.
So, I wanted to leave the records of that journey and I represented about the route we took during the trip. Choosing the materials, I decided to use a shadow box so that it can protect contents intact. Furthermore, I thought that the shadow box is a great tool for any decorations and can be used as a publicity material.
In this project, my one habit that I collect every tickets wherever I visit was a big help in doing this project. At last, those tickets came out to the world after 7 years. The reason I collect all the tickets and booklets of every place is that not only to keep the memory, also I can get to know about creative designs in those and I thought that it would be very useful in my design career.
To sum up, through my journey project, I hoped that it conveys my excitement that I had on the journey along the West and I wanted to show and recommend other people about the unique places I visited.
