"In nowadays, economics associated disciplines are of fundamental importance and application, which has encouraged me to pursue a degree in Economics.
I am fascinated by the world of economics around me and I also like to follow economic and financial issues through active participation as a future student and employee. I want to study Economics because I am interested in working with numbers, to use logic and creativity in solving financial problems. By having an understanding of how the economy's system works , I can really help in making sound decisions ,appreciations and investment choices. So, with this in mind, the importance of economy in our lives has lead me to believe that having a bachelor degree in economics would be beneficial and crucial for both, my future career and daily decisions making . I also have a passion for sociology and psychology. In my future career I want to combine this two basic things for me , economy and people. That's why , my goal is to work for an international organization which would allow me to get in contact everyday with new personalities and special people, or on a structuring desk at an important investment bank. I want to comprehensively understand each aspect of product development in well-delineated and quantified commodities including financial modeling, legal and accounting perspective and apply this knowledge to develop innovative risk management and hedging solutions for managing financial risk . I have always been aspired to be a leader of my life. I have been selected by the U.S. government as an exchange student (Future Leaders of Exchange 2011-2012), I was the manager of my school's projects and national ones, also I have received diplomas and certificates for success in initiative and active participation in regional/national/international contests. My performances as a member of school's math team have shown my dedication and attitude upon this interesting subject.
One of my strongest quality is my competitive spirit. I avoid losing and will work hard to make sure that I succeed often giving me the edge over my own goals. I am also constantly looking for fresh and progressive challenges. From all my sports I've practiced , the most challenging for me was cross-country run. It taught me never give up. The same idea I learned from professional dance school I went to 6 years. Also I have finished successfully musical school (piano), art school , I have a certificate from Junior Achievement program, research contests in physics , articles in newspapers about physics and math researches, I have received diplomas for high achievements in the Work and Talent Chisinau science conference for the Physics section . I am also a tennis and volleyball player. This list can continue, because I love to work with people and to be involved in many activities. I've studied German language and it gave me the opportunity to understand other culture and to work with other people, to take more responsibilities and to succeed. All these improved my skills like teamwork , determination , responsibility, creativity , I won a big amount of experience and I got to meet exceptional persons.
I feel I would be a perfect candidate for a place on a economics course, as my results throughout my time in school and extra-curricular activities are indicating. I also feel that my strong sense of justice and my ethics would stand me in a good manager stead. I have never been put off by hard work, per contra it sculpted my character, and I am willing to put all my efforts into making sure I succeed and do my best.
I believe my experiences, both in the classroom and as a member of the society have given me a great platform for this course at university. I have real ambitions for the future, a will to progress and I am certain this will enable me to contribute and excel at your university."
