"Fashion to FIT" - coming to the school ready and eager to learn

Fashion is something that can make a person feel like a million bucks even if it's something simple like a new jacket or a new hairstyle. I have always been fascinated with clothes, accessories, hair, and make-up. Fashion speaks to me and brings out creativity that I never knew I had. When I was younger I would tear out different clothes and shoes I like out of magazines, make my own outfits, and paste then in to a notebook. I was always around fashion growing up. My aunt had her own hair salon, my cousin was a traveling freelance make-up artist and my brother was a photographer and would do photo shoots as a hobby. They inspired me to get in to the field hoping to expand more into the fashion/business side.

While in high school I would do my friends hair and make-up for school show and just for fun and I noticed I was good at it so after I graduated from high school I decided to go to cosmetology school. While attending I volunteered at prom time magazine fashions show, I did hair and a little make-up it was here that I decided that I want to get into fashion more in-depth, the first school that came to mind was FIT. As I was planning to apply I started working to save up so I can put myself through school and I wound up going to another college and majored in accounting. Even though accounting is not want I wanted to go to school for it can help me in the long run for my fashion career. Now that I am done with my associate's degree in accounting I can now peruse my intended dream and be happy.

I would be a good candidate for FIT because I am coming to the school ready and eager to learn with a clear and open mind. I have some knowledge in fashion and I am hoping to bring my prior experiences and knowledge and the new experiences I will learn together to help me further my career and get on the right track. I am interested in fashion merchandising management because I have a good eye for putting things together. I always wanted to be the person behind the look to make things the next "it" thing. Also it can take you in different directions and open different doors, and with FIT having a great reputation and great connections and internships it can help me network and get to place I never thought I could.

I was always around fashion growing up. ------For me, this doesn't convey your idea clearly to the reader. I prefer if you re-write this idea to give more effect to what you are going to tell the reader next.

Even though accounting is not wantthe field I wanted to go to school for it can help me in the long run for my fashion careerpursue, I thought it would contribute to the success of my fashion career in the long run .

Now that I am done with myin possession of associate's degree in accounting and ready toI can now peruseersue my intendeddream of lifeand behappy . ( it is implied that you'll be happy by achieving your dream)
