feel honored to be a youth in this day and age; FSU

Out of all the characteristics that Florida State University embraces, the one that appeals the most to me would be global awareness. I feel honored to be a youth in this day and age. There is so much worldwide effort to save our planet. I see global awareness the only communal effort made by our society as a whole. In every country around the world communities unite for the same purpose, to save the planet from pollution and global warming. We come together to recycle plastics, paper, and aluminum. I find it amazing how many companies have converted to using organic farming and recycled products to give back to the community. I see this every day in the small area I live in, in Costa Rica. I live in a very green community. Everyone here reduces, reuses, and recycles and doesn't put anything to waste. Growing up I have always been involved in beach/ park cleanups and during middle and high school I was on a Green Team that encouraged everyone to recycle and I took it upon my free time to put bins in every class room and at the end of the day collect the bins and separate their contents. Where I live now there is a group of people who get together once a week and go to the beaches and hike through the trails and clean up all the trash. I've brought my knowledge from middle and half of high school when I was on the Green Team and have taught people here what I know about global awareness.

Great job. How many words can your essay be? I feel that this paragraph is your body. Maybe an intro and conclusion paragraph might help it flow better. It's overall good though just be sure to not over "flulff" it and be clear and concise.
