My foundation - Language study plan before and after Gkd

Before Arriving in Korea: Learning a new language has always been something I find exciting and rewarding. Long before I even thought about applying for the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS), I was drawn to the beauty of the Korean language. I started learning it simply because I enjoyed it and found it fascinating. The more I explored, the more I wanted to understand and communicate in it.
To build my foundation, I turned to resources like TalkToMeInKorean, Coursera, and YouTube, making use of every opportunity to practice. I set a small but meaningful goal for myself: to learn at least three to four new words or a full sentence each day. Over time, these small efforts added up. I also dedicated about an hour daily to practicing-listening, reading, and trying to form my own sentences. This routine became part of my day, and I loved seeing my progress, even if it was just understanding a phrase in a K-drama or recognizing words in a song.

One at a time.

I plan to enroll in intensive language courses

You will automatically be enrolled in the language class at the university. You can remove this section from the paragraph.

but I'm excited to take it on. By staying dedicated and immersing myself in both the language and the culture, I believe I can reach my goals and thrive in Korea.

Do not reference these things in this essay. It takes attention away from the language development focus of the prompt. Focus your closing statement on the course of study instead.

Some other problems of this essay include your failure to indicate that you will pursue a more formal study approach to learning Korean by enrolling in a Korean language center prior to your arrival. It is nice that you have a plan to achieve TOPIK level 4. However, you should first pursue gaining a language competency certificate from the language center where you will be studying so that you can present it with your application. That way the reviewer will have a better idea as to where your language skills stand as of the moment. This will be a major part of their consideration for your admission to the program.

Language

I'll take it that this is not your complete essay. So one tip extra I think you should add is a timeline plan on what you want to achieve and steps you plan to take. I mean elaborate on the topik level u plan to achieve.
