Prompt: You may discuss a personal experience or an activity that you have been involved that is relevant to the course you are applying for admission. (less than 2,000 characters) -> My essay is currently 2,044 characters.

Since a very young age, I have enjoyed the company of dogs and been responsible for the their welfare. My first work experience occurred two years ago when my purebred pug was pregnant twice with a dozen puppies in total and my mom refused to keep any. Thus, with the help of a vet and my family, my sisters and me managed to find each of them a home.

It was not an easy task to juggle between studying for middle school final year exams and being a breeder. I was in charge of putting advertisements on websites and respond them, negotiating with potential buyers, and offer the puppies to pet shops. When I did not have any homework, I helped my sisters nurture the puppies, train them to recognize their names and maintain hygiene in my house. I managed to achieve the highest national exam score in my school and sell a dozen puppies. From this valuable experience, I deepen my time-management, negotiation, and teamwork skills as well as interest in business.

Aside from breeding, I participated in my school's Entrepreneur Club during my first year as the secretary. This position demanded me to be very well organized and be able to follow specific and general instructions. It also challenged me to finish every task given in a timely manner as well as avoid miscommunication among my peers. My priceless experience during this period was when I volunteered to take part in my school's biannual bazaar. I seized the chance of working in pressure and expanding my comfort zone to attract customers. At the end of the day, my passion towards business grew stronger.

Until now, I take part in English competitions whenever I have the chance. A scholarship to join Young Leaders Winter School in Melbourne was granted as I partaken in the national essay writing competition. I gladly took the opportunity to broaden my network and hone my adaptation skill. After being immersed in a global community several times, I set up some short-term as well as long-term goals. One of them is none other than being a part of NUS.

Hey I am not an expert, actually I am also an applicant :)
I don't know How the essays for NUS are written, but the prompt asked for

" relevant to the course you are applying for admission".
I thought you didn't mention any particular course/field or in general, or any broad discipline like science/business (may be) and explain the experiences that drive you to study those.

Well it's my thought. You should, definitely, consult with other people too.
