Hey everyone, first off, I'm new here and this is my first post. :)
I registered here hoping to get (and probably also give) help on college application essays.
I would like to know if the answers I've listed are okay or should remove something and replace it.
(Note: I'm an international student and I'm applying to Columbia Engineering)

None of my courses I took in my secondary school required me to read any materials.
List the books read for pleasure that you enjoyed most in the past year:
A Heartbeat Away (Michael Palmer), Angels and Demons (Dan Brown), Artemis Fowl : The Opal Deception (Eoin Colfer), The Gilded Seal (James Twining), Digital Fortress (Dan Brown)
List the publications you read regularly, including print and electronic sources:
Liar Game (Manga by Shinobu Kaitani), creepypasta, blogs on "Y!"
List the films, concerts, shows, exhibits, lectures and other entertainments you enjoyed most in the past year:
The Mentalist (TV show), Prometheus, Chronicle (2012)

Really? if you took any AP courses like Art History and Bio. They often give you things to read in summer. As for me i received a reading( a very long Article). Think of something like that. Anything helps.
Lair game? is it good? i wrote Naruto too. :D
My school doesn't offer AP courses. (Its in Nigeria and sadly the educational system is more or less "caca" :[ ) They did give students who took Literature some text to read (Hamlet and some other stuff I think) but I didn't do Literature.
Yeah Liar Game is pretty good, only its times for releases of new chapters are becoming irregular. I would have added Naruto and some other manga as well but I can't say I follow them as regularly as I follow LG and I'm not even sure if putting manga there at all would be okay.
Anything you read in your class, like an story or like any passage from you text books would be fine too... I think. i think you should think of something to put there rather than just saying "none of my class required Anything" you could put in additional things you read to better understand or help you during class( That would really make you look better).
I am putting Naruto and Bleach. I think its better , you know gives the whole thing a "dorky" and unique edge.
